Accessibility Statement for Coding Mammoth

Coding Mammoth is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our site and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

Scope

This statement covers:

  • Website: codingmammoth.com
  • Native apps: our Mac and iOS products (MijnLijn, QuickScale, ...)

For Semonto, please see Semonto.com.

Goal

Our aim is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user‑friendly for everyone.

Measures we take

On codingmammoth.com, we work to:

  • Use of semantic HTML landmarks and headings.
  • Keyboard operability, including visible focus indicators and skip links.
  • Meaningful alternative text for images or empty alt for decorative images.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA where feasible.
  • Support for reduced motion preferences.
  • Descriptive link text and accessible names for icon‑only controls.
  • Supporting native accessibility tools like Apple VoiceOver.

In our Mac and iOS apps, we:

  • implement native Apple UI components to inherit system accessibility.
  • support VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, and system contrast settings
  • provide accessible labels, traits, and actions for interactive elements
  • respect system font sizes and hit-target guidance

Status and known limitations

While we strive for full compliance, some legacy content and third‑party embeds may not fully meet the guidelines yet. We are continuously reviewing and improving these areas.

Compatibility and testing

We aim to support the current and previous major versions of Safari, Chrome, and Firefox on desktop, and Safari/Chrome on iOS. We use a mix of manual checks, assistive technology testing (e.g., VoiceOver), and automated tooling to catch common issues during development and periodic reviews.

Feedback and contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions, please contact us at info@codingmammoth.com or by phone at +32 478 80 42 86.
